Freek Voets born on February 23, 2007 in Breda (the Netherlands), started playing guitar at the age of six. At twelve, he developed a strong passion for modern hip-hop and rap, inspired by artists such as Juice WRLD, XXXTentacion, Trippie Redd, The Kid LAROI, and Ken Carson.

At thirteen, $aff began making his own beats and songs. Two years later, he decided to start rapping and singing his own lyrics as well. His music revolves around themes that resonate with young people: love, personal struggles, and the dream of fame and wealth.

He strives to bring a fresh and innovative sound to the Dutch music scene.

Together with his friends from PICI Productions, he continues to work on new music and performs on various stages. With his newest album New Gen, $aff hopes to finally break through in the Dutch music industry.
